We're Hiring! Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives
Just Solutions is hiring!
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives is an executive-level position that works directly with the Executive Director and senior leadership team to advance Just Solutions' mission, strategies, and programs. This position plays a lead role in determining how we develop, prioritize, and deploy our research, analysis, and field-building resources to support the policy capacity and impact of state environmental and climate justice organizations and coalitions at the front lines of the climate movement.
The Senior Director will lead the creation of project hubs to further leverage the expertise of staff, fellows, advisors, and partners within the Just Solutions Collective to respond to community needs and priorities, proactively filling gaps and needs in research or policy content. The Senior Director brings the highest level of internal coordination to design, implement, manage and evaluate the Hub strategy to meet the organization's and our partners' near and short-term objectives.
The Senior Director is a highly organized strategic project manager and/or senior campaign manager who manages and mentors project team leaders across multiple hubs. Given the scope, complexity, and number of projects and operational needs, this position requires significant experience managing large and dynamic projects. In addition, this position has knowledge of environmental justice and the larger context/movement and a vision for developing and expanding our hub strategy to meet long-term organizational priorities.
